Launched in December 2021, this digital account is suitable for those traveling abroad or living abroad. Wise's main objective is to help consumers save money on international transactions, whether through purchases or transfers.

In general terms, this is the first fintech to offer a multi-currency account in the country. What's more, it's one of the only ones with this feature on the market. When you open an account with Wise, you can save money in up to 50 different currencies.

In addition, bank details can be kept in more than 10 countries, without the need to create new accounts. These are not the only advantages of digital banking, which also has the following benefits:

Financial transactions with the card can be made on the main smartphone digital wallets, such as Apple Pay, Samsung Pay and Google Pay. To apply for your card, you need to pay a fee of US $20.

To receive it, consumers can choose between two free ways: by requesting delivery to an address in the United States of America or by accumulating an amount of US $1,000 in a shipment from the last six months.

The Nomad card is available in virtual and physical form. Transactions with this product are accepted in Brazil, the United States and more than 50 countries. When the purchase is made in a currency other than the US dollar, the conversion is done automatically at no extra cost.

To make remittances from reais to dollars, consumers are charged a service fee of 2%, plus 1.1% IOF. On the other hand, this percentage can drop depending on the number of remittances sent to the account.

The minimum remittance must be US $100. Finally, withdrawals from the Nomad account are free and can be made at Allpoints networks. If you want to withdraw from other ATMs, only two withdrawals are free per month.
