Having a dirty name is still one of the biggest obstacles to getting credit in Brazil. But the good news is that digital banks are changing this scenario. Some fintechs already offer cards with high limits and fast approvaleven for those with CPF restrictions.

Why are digital banks more flexible?
Unlike traditional banks, which follow stricter credit analysis rules, digital banks have their own algorithmsThey look at financial behavior and consider much more than just the credit score.

They analyze:
- How much you spend each month
- If you pay bills on time
- If you've had previous accounts with them
- If your CPF is active and in order
- Your history of using the application itself
That's why, even those with a negative credit rating can get initial approval and, over time, increase the limit based on usage.

Now let's take a look at the banks that have been releasing the most credit - even for those with a restricted name.
1# Inter Bank
Banco Inter has grown considerably in recent years and is known for being one of the most complete digital banks.
Although I do credit analysis, there are frequent cases of approval for those with a negative credit ratingespecially if the CPF is in order.
Highlights:
- Free account and credit card with no annual fee
- Possibility of a higher limit after 3 months of use
- Intuitive app with integrated debit/credit function
- Loan option for CLT workers, retirees or pensioners
💡 Tip: keep a balance in your account and pay everything on time. This helps the algorithm to release more credit.
2# Neon
Neon is another digital bank that has approved a lot of people with bad namesespecially after consistent movements on the account.
Highlights:
- Credit card with emergency limit after constant use of the debit function
- Possibility of gradual increase according to use
- Account with automatic balance yield
- Light and easy to use app
💡 Tip: pay boletos through the app and use the card in a controlled manner - Neon values stable behavior.
3# PagBank (PagSeguro)
If you want a digital bank which approves quickly and offers a generous limitPagBank is a great option. Even people with a negative credit score can get a card, especially after using the app for basic transactions.
Highlights:
- Approval in minutes (even with mild restrictions)
- International card with no annual fee
- Initial limit may be low, but grows with use
- Accepts balance recharge and prepaid card
💡 Tip: having at least R$ 500 in your account every month greatly increases your chances of being approved for a loan.
4# PAN Bank
PAN Digital has invested heavily in negative customers, including with payroll loans for CLT and informal workers.
Highlights:
- Approval with alternative analysis, which considers history outside the score
- Cashback card and financial control app
- Frequent limit increases after 90 days
- Partnership with Serasa for CPF consultation
💡 Tip: if you're already a PAN customer for another product (such as a loan), the chances of being released are greatly increased.
5# Credicard / Itaú
Despite being linked to a traditional bank (Itaú), Credicard has a digital line that makes it easier for customers with a compromised financial history to join.
Highlights:
- Approval via app in less than 24 hours
- Limit can be increased with time of use
- Exclusive advantages with Mastercard Platinum
- Works even if your name is dirty, as long as your CPF is active
💡 Tip: use the card frequently and always pay the full amount. This activates the limit increase algorithm.
How can I increase my chances of being approved even if I'm not eligible?
- Regularize your CPF on the Receita Federal website, even if you have active debts. An irregular CPF greatly reduces your chances of getting credit.
- Keep your bank account. Real inflows and outflows show that you have an active financial life.
- Avoid opening too many accounts. Too many queries on your CPF in a short space of time will damage your reputation.
- Make good use of the products available. Even if they only give you a prepaid card at first, use it. Show that you're a good payer.
- Bet on banks that look at behavior and not just scores. That makes all the difference.
What if it's not approved straight away?
Don't get discouraged. Sometimes the system needs a few days of using the digital account to release the credit card. Keep a balance, pay bills through the app, use debit, transfer money.
Over time, you will be considered more reliable platform.
Digital banks that avoid negatives
Although many are more flexible, some digital banks still reject those with a bad name more often. Among them:
- Nubank (although there are exceptions, the policy is more conservative)
- C6 Bank (tends to be more demanding on first access)
- Next (uses Bradesco's base and maintains more traditional analyses)
That doesn't mean they'll never approve it - just that may require more time of use or movement before releasing the limit.
